The 2014-15 Premier League season will start this weekend and the champions Manchester City are ready to defend their title. ManU vs Swansea
City’s local rivals Manchester United, who only finished 7th last season, want to do better this season and will take on Swansea City in their first match. The team of coach Louis van Gaal was not very active in the transfer market but is considered to be the clear favourite to win their first game with odds of 1.36. Swansea has high odds of 11.00.
Burnley – Chelsea FC
Title hopefuls Chelsea will travel to Premier League new boys Burnley and Mourinho’s side is highly favoured to win this game. Chelsea was very active in the transfer market and signed promising players like the 32 million pound acquisition Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid and Cesc Fabregas from FC Barcelona. Diego Costa scored twice in a friendly match against Real Sociedad at Stamford Bridge which ended 2-0 and prepared the team perfectly for their Premier League opener on Monday. A Chelsea win will pay out odds of 1.41, whereas those who are brave and bet on Burnley will get 11.00.
Liverpool FC vs Southampton FC
Last season’s runner-up Liverpool will play in their own stadium against Southampton FC. Liverpool signed three good players from Southhampton. Arsenal FC vs Crystal Palace
Arsenal finished 4th last season and will face Crystal Palace at home in their first game. Coach Arsene Wenger signed promising players like the 19-year old defender Calum Chambers from Southampton for a sum of 16 million pounds and Alexis Sanchez who scored twice for Chile at the World Cup. Promoted Leicester and QPR
Leicester City and Queens Park Rangers promoted from the second division and both teams are confident that they will have a good season start.
